My name is Arjen Bokhoven, born in Amsterdam, the Netherlands in 1972.
Growing up in the 1980's, I drew comics, science fiction scenes and superheroes, although my pencils were eventually replaced with the Commodore 64 home computer. Its limitations as a creative outlet forced me to stop & think about how to actually design stuff. Being part of the C64 demoscene provided me with a colossal well of inspiration to draw from.
In 1996 I was employed in the still-very-young website design industry, after which a chance came to work at the now legendary Guerilla Games studio. Over the course of the next 15 years I worked at Guerrilla as modeler, texture artist, effects artist to eventually take position as team lead and producer. In 2014 I left Guerrilla to follow my passion to work as freelance graphic designer.
Today, I live in Indonesia, working as designer and marketeer for a dive resort. But thanks to the coronavirus pandemic, Indonesia's tourism industry is severely crippled. So therefore I have more time to do client work.
